A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car in Cliffoney, Co Sligo.
The man, who was aged 66, was seriously injured in the collision, which happened on the N15 Sligo/Donegal Road at around 4pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Sligo University Hospital.
The driver of the car, a female, was also taken to the hospital but with minor injuries. Three children that were travelling in the car with her were uninjured.
The road is currently closed for an examination and diversions are in place. It is expected to reopen tomorrow afternoon.
