An elderly man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sligo this afternoon.
The accident occurred at Dromore West, Co Sligo, at 2.30pm.
The man in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene after his tractor crashed.
The man’s body has been removed to Sligo University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
The road at the scene has been closed to facilitate an examination of the area by garda forensic experts.
