Three people who were arrested following the seizure of a number of handguns on Friday have been released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The firearms were intercepted after being posted to Ireland from the United States.
The handguns had been found in parcels due to be delivered to locations in Dublin city and county.
Gardaí are working in support with US Homeland Security and say investigations into the seizure are ongoing.
