Man dies following road crash in Co Meath

A 21-year-old man has died following a road crash in Co Meath in the early hours of this morning.

The crash happened at Gibbstown, Navan at around 4am this morning.

A 23-year-old man, who was driving the car, was also injured in the incident and was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

The road has been closed to facilitate gardaí investigating the crash.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact Navan Garda Station on 046-9036100 or any Garda Station.
