An investigation is under way into the death of a woman at a hotel in Oughterard, Co Galway yesterday.
The woman was in her 60s and is understood to be from the Cork area.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later today. Gardaí say that the result of this will determine the course of their investigation.
The Connemara Lake Hotel was evacuated shortly after her death and a forensic examination of the scene is being carried out.
The fire brigade and gardaí are at the scene, and the Health and Safety Authority has also been requested to assist gardaí.

Two more guests from the hotel presented at the emergency department in University Hospital Galway feeling unwell and have undergone tests.
In a statement the hotel said that it will remain closed until further notice while the investigation takes place.
