The body of a man has been recovered in the Derryveagh Mountains in Co Donegal.
The alarm was raised on Saturday night when a walker failed to return to his car, which was parked at Loch Beara on the western outskirts of Glenveagh National Park.
It is understood the man is originally from England but had a home in Donegal.
Last Thursday he told locals he was going walking in the Sliabh Sneachta area.
A Coast Guard helicopter took part in the search for a time at midday yesterday.
The Donegal Mountain Rescue Team coordinated the search and the body was found yesterday evening.
