A man has been seriously injured in a gangland-style shooting in Co Meath.
The man was driving into his home at Mill Close in Stamullen at around 7pm when a lone gunman approached and fired a number of shots at him.
The victim is believed to have been hit at least twice.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where his condition is described as serious.

The injured man is believed to be originally from Dublin.
Detectives are trying to establish a motive for the attack.
The scene has been preserved pending the arrival of the Garda Technical Bureau.
