Two people are in hospital following a stabbing incident in Co Waterford.
A man and a woman are both being treated for non-life threatening injuries at University Hospital Waterford.
Gardaí were called to the scene in the Thompson Lane area of Dungarvan town in the early hours of this morning.
One person has been arrested by gardaí and is being detained at Dungarvan Garda Station.
The scene has been examined and investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
