Tributes have been paid to an Irish teenager who died in a road traffic collision in Jordan.
It is understood 18-year-old Mohammed Alrawehneh, who lived in Dublin, was killed in the incident in the Middle Eastern country on Friday.
The Department of Foreign Affairs say they stand-by to provide consular assistance.
In a statement, Shamrock Rovers FC paid tribute to Mohammad, who won the Under 15s South Dublin Football League Cup with the team in 2014.
They said: "Our deepest condolences go to the family and friends of Mohammad Alrawehneh who was killed in a road traffic accident in Jordan last night [Friday].
"Mohammad was in Firhouse Community College and won the U15 SDFL Cup with Rovers in 2014. RIP."
