The Home Sweet Home group, which conducted the high-profile occupation of Apollo House at the end of last year, has said money raised by the campaign will be given to organisations working with the homeless.
A spokesperson for Home Sweet Home said the total amount in the fund for dispersal is €85,000.
Money was raised through donations to the campaign, which saw homeless people moving into the Apollo House building.
The group has issued a statement saying that this money will now go into a grant scheme for groups which work with people affected by the housing crisis
A spokesperson said that a funding page that was set up to cover the costs of the Apollo House campaign exceeded expectations.
The announcement by the group comes after it was revealed yesterday that 2,777 children were without a home in May.
The May national homeless figures showed there were 1,312 homeless families in Ireland in May.
