A 33-year-old man has been brought before Dublin District Court charged in connection with the death of a man following an incident outside a nightclub in Swords in north County Dublin early on Sunday.
Christopher Fitzgerald, a 34-year-old father, suffered serious injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital, but died yesterday.
Daniel Fitzgerald, from Whitestown Avenue, Blanchardstown, Dublin, was brought before the court today charged with manslaughter.
The judge remanded him in custody with consent to conditional bail to appear in court again on Friday.
