A woman in her eighties has died in a house fire in north Dublin.
Gardaí say emergency services were called to the house in Walshestown in Lusk at about 6pm.
Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene.
The woman's body was removed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where she was pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
