An investigation is under way into the suspected theft of €12,000 from a garda station in Dublin.
The money was discovered missing in the last month following a routine audit at Kevin Street Garda Station.
Gardaí believe the cash may have been taken from a number of exhibits.
At this stage they do not believe any ongoing cases have been compromised.
The Garda Press Office confirmed an investigation is ongoing.
