A man has been arrested in connection with the investigation into injuries sustained by a baby in Co Louth.
The ten-week-old girl remains in a critical condition in a Dublin hospital.
The 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault causing serious harm to the child.
He was arrested in Dublin but was taken to Drogheda Garda Station for questioning.
