A pedestrian in his late 20s has been killed in a crash on the M50 in Dublin.
The incident happened close to junction 4 northbound, Ballymun at about 5.30pm.
The man suffered fatal injuries when he was struck by an articulated lorry.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown where a post-mortem is to be arranged.
No other injuries have been reported.
The M50 Northbound remains closed at junction four to facilitate a forensic investigation. Diversions are in place.
