Hundreds of friends, colleagues and people from the disability sector have attended the funeral of disability rights campaigner Martin Naughton in Dublin.
President Michael D Higgins was represented by his aide-de-camp, Captain James Mulderrig, while Taoiseach Enda Kenny was represented by Lt Col Kieran Carey.
Minister Of State with special responsibility for Disabilities Finian McGrath, Éamon Ó Cuív TD and Joan Burton TD were also among those in attendance at St Peter and Paul's Church in Baldoyle.
In his homily, Fr Peter O'Connor said that the wonderful things Mr Naughton achieved when everyday was a challenge were being celebrated today.
He spoke of the love Mr Naughton had for everyone and of how he reached out to so many people even though he had so many crosses to bear.

Symbols of his life were brought to the altar, including his hat and poncho and also his mobile phone and radio, because he loved keeping up-to-date, the congregation heard.
His Person Of The Year Award was also brought to the altar.
In a reflection, Mr Naughton's friend and fellow activist Donal Toolan said Martin was a formidable activist.
He said there are thousands of disabled people who have benefited from Mr Naughton's work in founding the Centre For Independent Living.
The congregation also heard how Mr Naughton encouraged disabled people to dream big and not tolerate second best.
Mr Naughton was buried in Co Galway this evening.
