A man has died in a single-vehicle crash near Drogheda in Co Louth.
The 20-year-old sustained fatal injuries when the car he was driving crashed just before 11pm last night.
The incident happened on a link road between Sandpit and Ballymakenny.
A man in his late teens who was travelling in the car was also injured, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed to allow for an investigation. Gardaí have appealed to witnesses to come forward.
