A search for a man missing off Rougey in Bundoran, Co Donegal has resumed.
The man, who is understood to be a soldier, got into difficulty while swimming in the sea off Bundoran yesterday evening.
A spokesperson at Malin Head Coast Guard said the alarm was raised by a woman in a carpark after a group of swimmers signalled to her for help.
The Bundoran RNLI, the Killybegs rescue boat and the Coast Guard helicopter based in Sligo are involved in the search.
