Gardaí in Dublin have seized drugs worth an estimated street value of €580,000.
A firearm and ammunition were also recovered in the operation, which focused on organised criminal activity in Finglas.
The seizure was made during the search of a premises in the Barry area of Finglas.
A man in his late 30s was arrested and is currently detained at Finglas Garda Station.
Separately, gardaí in Limerick seized drugs with an estimated street value of €126,000.
Two firearms, ammunition and a firearm component were also recovered.
The discovery was made during a planned search operation at a premises at Brooks Bridge, Pallasgreen, Co Limerick.
Gardaí were assisted by the Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit in the operation.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is continuing.
