A 59-year-old man has died in a workplace accident on a building site in Midleton, Co Cork.
The incident happened at St Coleman's Community College at 12.45pm where construction on a new two-storey extension and sports hall is under way.
Two other workers were taken to Cork University Hospital, where they were treated for shock and minor injuries.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have launched separate investigations into the incident.
