A man in his early 20s has died in a road crash in Co Cavan.
The man died when the car he was a passenger in struck a wall just before 6pm at Station Road in Cootehill.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Cavan General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The driver and a second passenger, also both in their 20s, were injured.
The driver was taken to Cavan General Hospital and the second passenger was airlifted to St James's Hospital in Dublin.
