A woman and her 14-year-old son have died in a car crash in Co Galway.
Tina Kelly, who was in her 30s, and her son Joey Kelly-Cahill died when the car they were travelling in hit a tree at Ballaghlea, Ballygar at around 9.45pm last night.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene and their bodies were removed to University Hospital Galway, where post-mortem examinations took place.
They were the only occupants of the car and no other vehicles were involved.
They were both from Ballygar and will be buried following funeral mass at St Mary's Church on Wednesday.
