An investigation is under way into the alleged discovery of illegal drugs in a Health Service Executive ambulance in Dublin.
It is understood that a number of staff at the National Ambulance Service in Dublin have been placed on protective leave following the incident.
A garda spokesperson said the National Ambulance Service reported "a number of matters" to Blanchardstown Garda Station and confirmed that an investigation is under way.
However, gardaí said nobody has been arrested in relation to the incident.
In a statement to RTÉ News, the HSE's National Ambulance Service said "it is not in a position to comment as investigations are ongoing".
