A woman has died in a house fire in Cork city.
Her body was discovered after Cork City Fire Service was called to a house at Curaheen Drive in Bishopstown this evening.
It is thought the fire may have been burning for some time, possibly since last night.
The woman's body remains at the scene, pending a technical examination by gardaí.
