Three fire officers were injured in an explosion in Cork in the early hours of this morning.
They were hurt while attending the scene of a fire on a farm close to Macroom at around 12.40am.
The three officers were brought to Cork University Hospital by gardaí who also attended the scene.
The fire was subsequently brought under control and the scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
