An appeal has been issued to find a 35-year-old man missing from his home in Maynooth, Co Kildare, since 17 April.

Marcin Michalak, a Polish national, was last seen on the evening of Sunday 17 April at a supermarket in Maynooth.

He is described as being 1.79m (5'9") in height, with a tight haircut and a partial beard.

When last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie top with red writing on it and beige walking shoes. He is known to carry a small black backpack.

Mr Michalak was driving a Grey Mazda 6 car, which was located by a routine garda patrol at Luggala, Co Wicklow, close to a forest area and trails in the Wicklow National Park.
