The number of families becoming homeless across the country continues to rise.
Latest figures for February from the Department of the Environment found that there were 912 families, including 1,881 children, without a home and living in emergency accommodation
In January, the numbers stood at 884 families and 1,830 children.
It means almost one family per day became homeless during the month of February.
790 homeless families are in Dublin, 30 are in the southwest of the country, 21 in the mid-east region and 17 in the west.
