A 39-year-old woman has died after she was struck by a van in Co Tipperary.
The woman was seriously injured in the incident, which occurred on the Moynead Cross to Shanballyduff Cross road at around 4.10pm and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick.
The van driver was uninjured.
The road has been closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
