A body has been recovered from the sea off the Galway coast near Ardfry Point in Oranmore.
The unidentified body was spotted about 20 metres from shore by a search party, including gardaí, who were looking for missing NUIG student Michael Bugler.
The 20-year-old from Ennis had been missing since Friday 18 December.
The search has now been called off.
