A man in his 60s has died following a two-vehicle crash in Co Wicklow this morning.
The collision happened at the cross roads in Kilcarney Lower, about 16km from Baltinglass, at around 10.15am.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Naas General Hospital.
The driver of the second vehicle, a man in his 20s, was arrested in connection with the collision and is currently being detained at Baltinglass Garda Station.
The road was closed for a time in order to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but has since reopened.
