A 49-year-old woman has died following a road traffic collision in Co Mayo overnight.
The woman was hit by a car on the N60, Castlebar to Claremorris Road, near Breaffy village at around 3am.
Traffic diversions are in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.
