A man in his 90s has died in a house fire in Co Kilkenny.
It is believe the fire broke out at around midday at a house in the townland of Uskarty near the Castlecomer to Carlow road.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to St Luke's hospital for a post mortem examination.
Gardaí are not treating the death as suspicious.
