The latest RedC Sunday Business Post opinion poll suggests that support for the Government parties has increased.
The poll indicates that both Fine Gael and the Labour Party are up three points.
Support for Sinn Féin is indicated to have dropped to its lowest level since 2013.
The poll was conducted among 1,000 voters earlier in the week and shows Sinn Féin support at 17%.
This would show that they are down four points since last month in this series of polls that have a three per cent margin of error.
Support for Independents and others is also down.
But on 28% Independents remain the most popular among voters.
Within that 28% the new political party Renua gets the backing of 2% of voters.
The same level of support recorded for the Green Party.
The Government parties though got the biggest rise in support with Fine Gael now at 27%, that's up three points.
For the first time in a year, the Labour Party's support level has hit double digits.
The party is up three points to 10%.
Fianna Fáil is unchanged at 18%.
Despite the rise in support for the coalition parties two thirds of voters said they had not felt the benefit of any economic recovery.
Of those surveyed 62% believe the country is out of recession but said a change of Government is needed to deliver a fairer society.
However one in four voters currently supporting non Government parties are concerned that a change of Government might stall economic recovery.
This may suggest support for the Government parties could rise at election time.
