Four people have appeared in court charged with helping to dispose of and hide the body parts of murdered 16-year-old Becky Watts.
Karl Demetrius, 29, and Jaydene Parsons, 23, of Barton Court, Bristol, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court with Donovan Demetrius, 29, of Marsh Lane, Bristol, and James Ireland, 23, of Richmond Villas, Avonmouth.
The defendants spoke only to confirm their names, addresses and dates of birth and did not enter pleas during the short hearing.
They are jointly charged with assisting an offender without lawful authority or reasonable excuse between 22 February and 3 March.
The charge alleges that they "did an act, namely assist in the disposal and concealment of the body parts of Rebecca Watts with intent to impede the apprehension or prosecution of Nathan Watts, who had committed the offence of murder".
District Judge Lynne Matthews remanded the four - who did not make applications for bail - into custody.
They will next appear at Bristol Crown Court on 26 March.
"You understand the case must be sent to the Crown Court at Bristol," the judge said.
"The first hearing there for all of you will be on 26 March. In the meantime I am going to remand you all in custody."
Police said a fifth person, a 23-year-old man who was arrested on Monday, has been released without charge.
Nathan Matthews, 28, Becky's stepbrother, was charged with her murder earlier this week and appeared at Bristol Crown Court earlier.
His girlfriend, Shauna Hoare, 21, appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court charged with perverting the course of justice yesterday.
Prosecuting, May Li gave no details of the case against Mr Demetrius, Ms Parsons, Mr Demetrius and Mr Ireland to the court today.
Steve George, representing Ms Parsons, said his client would not enter a plea but added: "She vehemently denies any involvement in this offence."
The defendants were arrested on Monday evening after police attended a house in Barton Court, Barton Hill, Bristol.
Body parts were discovered at the address, which continues to be combed by forensics teams. A private ambulance was seen leaving the property on Tuesday afternoon.
Becky, described as "wonderful" by her family, vanished from her home in Crown Hill, Bristol, at 11.15am on 19 February.
Police launched a huge search after she was reported missing the following afternoon, including a social media campaign using the hashtag #FindBecky.
Mr Matthews, of Hazelbury Drive, Warmley, was previously identified as the teenager's stepbrother - the son of her father Darren Galsworthy's wife Anjie - by family members.
