Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man's body at the back of a house in an estate in Dunleer, Co Louth.
The body of the 27-year-old was found by an occupant of the house at around 9am.
Gardaí have carried out a technical examination of the scene.
A post mortem is being carried out by State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The outcome of the post mortem will determine the next stage of the garda investigation.
