A 49-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being stabbed in Skibbereen in Co Cork last night.
The stabbing happened on North Street in at around 11.45pm.
The man approached a group of men and collapsed with knife wounds.
It is not clear how he was injured.
He is currently being treated for his injuries at Cork University Hospital.
