Over 30 bands and 1000 supporters took part in the 'Lundy Day' march by Apprentice Boys in Derry today.
The march began at the railway station in the Waterside and bands came across the Craigavon Bridge and into the city.
There was a commemoration of the "Closing of the Gates" in 1688 when 13 apprentice boys closed the city gates, sparking the Siege of Derry .
There was a heavy police presence both on the streets and up on Derry's walls, but the march passed off peacefully.
A replica of the Colonel Robert Lundy, also called "Lundy the traitor" will be burned in Bishop Street.
Lundy was governor of the city during the siege and is considered a traitor by unionists for offering to surrender during the siege.
