Gardaí were called to a toy store in Dublin yesterday after an altercation between customers.

The incident happened at around 9.30am at the Airside Retail Park in Swords.

It is understood there was disruption outside the toy store, after a number of people had been queuing overnight, for a doll based on a character from the Disney feature-length cartoon, 'Frozen'.

Nobody was arrested in the incident and investigations are ongoing.

In Galway city, around 60 people queued from early morning outside Smyths Toy Store on the Headford Road for the popular Snow Glow Elsa doll.

However, the shop received a shipment of 26 dolls that morning and had to distribute the toy to customers through a ticketing system.
