A well-known Dublin pub close to Croke Park was shut down by the Food Safety Authority a day after the All-Ireland Hurling Senior Championship final.

The FSAI issued a closure order against Quinn's pub on the Drumcondra Road on 8 September.

A closure order is issued when there is a "grave and immediate danger to public health".

A prohibition order was also issued against the pub, forbidding it to serve any of the alcohol stored in its basement.

In total, 12 closure orders and two prohibition orders were issued against food or drink businesses in September for breaches of food safety legislation.
