Ministers are due to meet for a special early morning Cabinet meeting tomorrow to sign off on the Government's medium-term economic strategy.

The plan, which covers the period up to 2020, is likely to be published in the next week.

The strategy aims at boosting economic growth while reducing Ireland’s debt levels.

Minister for Finance Michael Noonan has said that it will consider industrial and innovation policy, competition policy, labour market activation and skills policy, as well as access to credit.
