Gardaí have confirmed that the body of a 51-year-old man has been recovered from a farm in Co Cavan.
It is understood the man's body was taken from a slurry pit at Drumeague in Baileboro yesterday afternoon.
The Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation into the incident.
