A ten-year-old boy arrested in connection with the death of an elderly man in England has been released on bail.
The 79-year-old man, named locally as Victor Hepworth, was found lying in a street in the Harehills area of Leeds with a head injury yesterday evening.
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed the head injury was not the man's cause of death, however.
Further medical tests are continuing.
Police had been called to Back Hill Top Avenue by the ambulance service at 6.20pm yesterday.
Mr Hepworth, who is understood to have had a heart condition, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
He is believed to have been involved in a verbal row with a child shortly before he collapsed.
A ten-year-old who was arrested last night has now been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
A forensic tent was put up at the scene in Back Hill Top Avenue, a street of terrace houses, and the area was cordoned off by police.
