Over a hundred people have gathered in Ballymun in Dublin for a memorial service for Peggy Mangan, who died after going missing in Dublin last month.

The service is taking place beside the field near IKEA where the 65-year-old's remains were found.

Ms Mangan, who had Alzheimer's, left her home on Mount Tallant Avenue in Terenure with her dog Casper on 24 September. Her body was found four days later.

A spokesperson for Ms Mangan's family thanked everyone who was involved in the search for her.

The spokesperson said the family intended to set up a foundation for missing people and their families.
