Dublin's Liberty Hall has been given an artistic makeover to commemorate the 1913 Lockout.

A 50-metre high banner was hung from the western side of the building today and the eastern facade will be covered from tomorrow.

The banners, based on work by artists Robert Ballagh and Cathy Henderson, will remain on the building until January of next year.
