The latest Sunday Independent/Millward Brown opinion poll suggests that support for both Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael is falling.
The survey estimates support for Fine Gael standing at 27% - a drop of two points.
Fianna Fáil is down three points to 25%.
Sinn Féin is at 21% cent with Independents and others up three points to 18%.
The Labour Party remains at 8% for the third poll in a row.
