Members of Newbridge Credit Union have protested outside the Central Bank against what they say is the Central Bank's plan to force a merger of their credit union with Naas Credit Union.

The protestors say the Central Bank also wants to force Newbridge Credit Union to sell its building, which was paid for by members.

The protestors want a gagging order on Directors of Newbridge Credit Union to be lifted and are also calling for the right to hold an AGM where all facts can be revealed.
