Gardaí appeal for witnesses after man dies in Co Meath car crash

A 22-year-old man has died following a single vehicle crash in Co Meath.

The crash happened on the R150 between Duleek and Julianstown at around 2:20am. The car struck a stone wall.

Gardaí say the man was the sole occupant of the car.

He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he was later pronounced dead.

The section of road has been closed and diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was on the R150 road between Duleek and Julianstown between two and 2:45am on Sunday morning to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01-8010600 or any Garda station.
