The Oireachtas Health Committee has published the schedule for its hearings into the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill.
The Committee will sit from 9.30am until 7.45pm on Friday, and from 9.30am until 8.45pm on Monday and Tuesday.
Friday's hearings will deal with policy, medical issues and obstetrics; Monday will focus on psychiatry and other medical specialities; and Tuesday will be taken up with legal hearings.
In a statement, Committee chairperson Jerry Buttimer thanked the many people who offered to come before the Committee, but they were unable to accommodate every request. He said they were grateful to those who made written statements.
Meanwhile, a group of women who say they now regret having abortions is to brief Oireachtas members on their views tomorrow.
The group, Women Hurt, has been invited to meet TDs and senators after their request to give evidence before the Oireachtas Health Committee was turned down.
The committee begins three days of hearings on the draft heads of the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill 2013 on Friday.
The witness list is confined to legal and medical experts.
Fine Gael TD Billy Timmins is organising tomorrow's private briefing by the group for Oireachtas members.
