A two-year-old boy who was kicked in the head by a horse in Thurles this evening has been airlifted to hospital.
The child was on the Rosemount Estate in Thurles when the incident happened at 7.30pm.
He was treated by ambulance personnel at the scene, before being airlifted to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.
