Pedestrian dies after collision with motorcycle in Co Galway

A man in his 30s has died after a road collision at Rossaveel, Co Galway.

The pedestrian died after being struck by a motorcycle at about 9pm last night.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was removed to Galway University Hospital.

The man driving the motorcycle and his female passenger were also taken to the hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
